How did you prepared for this project? Explain.

The way I prepared for this project was by playing the games that I would teach the student. I needed know how the game work and see what part was hard to help my student if he had any problems. I also had to play more than one game just in case we finish doing the game.

How was your experience before, during, and after this project? From beginning to end.

Before we started doing this hour of code I was nervous. I didn’t know who I was going to and how I was going to approach this, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought It was going to be. I started get more confident in what I was doing. I was very proud of what I did after this project.

What did you learn? How do you better understand working and teaching others? Explain.

What I learned from this project is how hard teachers work. I was tired by just standing there for one period, so teachers doing this the whole days is impressive. Something that I understand better now is how to problem solve. Having someone asking you how to do something makes you practice more in problem solving, which makes you better at it.

What was easy, hard, explain why?

During this project, what was easy to me was teaching the game because my student knew a little about making games. He didn’t need much of my help so I had it much easier than some of my friends. All I had to worry about was telling him what to do next. My student was smart so he didn’t get stuck during the building process of the game. So, overall I think this project was easy.

How that this project benefits our community? Explain.

 I think this project can help get kids more interested in the technology. This may also make kids choose the tech academy for when they have to choose an academy. This also helps senior that want to become teachers, they practice what it is to be a teacher. This type of project not only helps the students teaching but also the ones that are learning.
